Finishing of the engraved cylinders is taken care of by an automatic chrome plating lline, in which the newly engraved cylinders are chrome-plated by rotating them in a chrome bath. This process strengthens image cells for future printing process. Similar to the previous process of copper platting the process is highly automated and that the chemical solution is analysed daily to ensure quality of chroming.
